Fieldwork in student teaching and capstone research or engineering Senior Design Projects also demonstrate to potential employers that you possess hands-on learning experience. Senior Design Projects

Senior Design Projects are comprehensive, one and two semester-long experiences where engineering students solve design problems under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Many of these projects have an industrial or clinical sponsor and resolve a real problem faced by an organization.

Student Teaching

Student teaching allows students enrolled in Elementary or Secondary Education programs to complete the required 75 hours of prepracticum field study in their sophomore or junior years as classroom observers, tutors, and teacher assistants, and 300 hours of full practicum teaching experience in their senior years.
