What Will You Study?
The MS in Organizational Leadership is designed to develop and enhance your knowledge and skills in order to hold leadership positions in an organization. You will be exposed to theories and best practices for problem solving, decision-making, and research, as well as identify your personal leadership style, strengths, and skills, and use them to impact your work. Courses include Leadership, Problem Solving, and Decision Making; Organizational Behavior and Theory; Leading Change; and Contemporary Issues in Leadership.
Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. A wide variety of academic backgrounds will be considered for admission. The GMAT or GRE is required for admission. How are Courses Offered?
Course Delivery: Online with optional in-class (evening)
Total Credits: 30-33
Courses are offered through a flexible model that includes option in-class sessions as well as online via Kodiak, Western New England University's online learning management system. Through this online classroom you will be able to view lectures, complete and submit assignments, and participate in discussions.
Each course will consist of 11 class sessions, six of which are both online and campus-based*, while five will be offered completely online. You choose whether you will attend the classes that take place on campus, or whether you complete your studies completely online.
*International candidates will be required to attend in-class sessions in order to be in compliance with student visa requirements.
The MS in Organizational Leadership consists of 30 credits, or 10 courses. By taking two courses per 11-week term, you can expect to finish in 15 months. If you take one course per term, you can expect to complete you degree in two and a half years.
A diverse group of professionals, our Management and Leadership faculty members are focused on teaching and mentoring you. All members hold advanced degrees in accredited business majors from some of the finest colleges and universities. They are involved in research, provide consulting services to companies, publish in national journals, and present their work at regional and national meetings about leadership.
