Arts and Sciences in Italy

The Study Abroad Fair will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Campus Center Mall area.

Spring Semester 2018

This semester-long program will be carried out in conjunction with the Accademia Europea di Firenze (AEF), an international school of liberal and performing arts and Italian studies. Students will be accompanied by a Western New England faculty member and will take at least two regular University courses in addition to AEF course offerings. The program includes at least three day-trips outside of Florence and one weekend excursion related to one or more of the courses offered. Best of all, the entire cost of the program is covered by regular Western New England University tuition and housing fees. 

No language skills required.

Students will take a full semester of coursework (15-17 cr.) while in Italy, consisting of two three-credit courses from Western New England faculty, and 2-3 courses from AEF. AEF courses may be used to satisfy any applicable Western New England requirements, and all course credits will automatically be transferred. This program also satisfies requirements for LBC credit.

ENGL 390—Literature and Theory of the Metropolis (ILP pending)
ENGL 290—Expository Writing and Research (Writing Intensive)
