We want you to develop as a whole person through social and physical activities in addition to academics. At the Alumni Healthful Living Center (AHLC), you'll find a place to enrich your campus experience beyond the classroom. It gives you a space to work out, unwind, and meet new friends. And it's a great place to get a head start on fitness habits that will last a lifetime. Whether you're looking to play intramural sports, learn yoga, or just take a swim, it all starts at the AHLC!

Contact the Office of Admissions to plan a visit, including a tour of the campus and the Alumni Healthful Living Center. Choose a Fitness Strategy
The Alumni Healthful Living Center provides you with an outstanding facility that rivals the area's best health clubs. If you're an intramural athlete, you'll find everything you need to succeed. Our indoor track, fitness center, strength training room, practice courts, and eight-lane pool will help you gain a competitive edge.
The AHLC also offers you a variety of classes to join from spin cycling to Pilates. If you want the motivation and structure of group exercise, you'll find many options to choose from that work within your schedule and interests.
If you would rather work out at your own pace, you can take advantage of our free-weight and strength training equipment, cardiovascular exercise machines, and indoor track. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff includes both full and part-time instructors with degrees in exercise science. Along with dedicated interns, they'll help you find the programs that fit your personal fitness goals. There's always something new to try at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.
Stop by Just for Fun
There's no better place to relieve stress than at the Alumni Healthful Living Center. Join friends to shoot some hoops, support your favorite varsity team at the field house, or battle it out with your roommate on the squash court. If you need to cool off, you can kayak, canoe, or play basketball and volleyball in the pool's recreation area. When you're done exercising, you can unwind by taking a steam in the saunas located in the men's and women's locker rooms. Sometimes the best reason to stop by is just for the fun of it.
