Western New England University is known for its beautiful, well-maintained campus. Having separated from its founding institution, Northeastern University, in the early 1950s, the earliest facility was opened in 1959 on the University's original 34 acres. The campus has grown to 215 acres and 21 major buildings.
The University is located in a residential section of Springfield, Massachusetts about four miles from the downtown. The campus is easy to reach from Interstates 90 and 91 (see directions). You can learn more about the campus by reviewing the virtual tour, campus map and the 360-degree views of the campus.
