College of Business - Master's Degree Programs


Accredited by AACSB International, the College of Business offers a variety of advanced degrees to give you an advantage in today’s job market.  You can earn your degree in as little as one year.  If you choose to take longer, our flexible format will allow you to pursue your studies based on your schedule.  Four 11-week terms are offered annually – fall, winter, spring, and summer.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Our unique format allows you to blend online study with optional in-class sessions. Whether you want to complete your studies 100% online or incorporate the evening in-class sessions, the choice is yours. Our course delivery model utilizes technology that will provide you with a truly interactive experience with your faculty and classmates.  Learn more about this course delivery model.This flexibility makes our program ideal for working professionals who wish to earn a degree at a pace that fits the demands of their personal and professional lives. You will work with your advisor to develop a plan that will help you accomplish your educational goals in your desired time-frame.  You have up to eight years to complete the program once you begin.  MBA candidates working a full-time job typically complete the program in 18-22 months.  The MBA consists of 36 credits (12 graduate courses).

Master of Science in Accounting (MSA)
As is the case with the MBA program, you can complete your studies 100% online, or incorporate in-class sessions that are offered during the evening. Read more about our convenient course delivery model. A blend of accounting theory and practice will provide you with an excellent foundation for the CPA exam and beyond.  The MSA program consists of 30 credits (10 graduate courses).  Learn about the curriculum. You have the option of selecting a concentration: Forensic Accounting/Fraud Investigation or Taxation. Our MSA concentrations will provide you with even greater opportunities for specialization in these high growth areas.

Master of Science in Organizational Leadership
Complete your studies 100% online, or incorporate in-class sessions that are offered during the evening.  Read more about our convenient course delivery model.  The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program consists of 30 credits (10 graduate courses) covering leadership theory and best practices involving people and processes in organizations.  Learn about the curriculum

Combined Degree Programs
Leveraging the wealth of academic programs offered at Western New England University, graduate candidates have the opportunity to utilize “cross-credits” that will apply toward two degree programs. This is an investment that will save you time and money, as much as $12,000! The following options are available:

JD/MBA – offered in collaboration with the School of Law

Master of Science in Engineering Management/MBA – offered in collaboration with the College of Engineering

PharmD/MBA – offered in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy

Leadership Certificate
The Leadership Certificate Program will enable you to enhance your leadership role in the workplace or community; further professional and personal goals for leadership development; and satisfy professional requirements for advanced coursework. It is ideal for managers who have earned a bachelor's degree, individuals testing the waters on pursuing a graduate degree, and professionals who have already earned a master’s degree, who are seeking additional leadership development. Courses include MAN 600 Leadership, MAN 642 Leading Change, MAN 651 Ethical Leadership Practice, and MAN 652 Contemporary Issues in Leadership. Course descriptions.
