Master of Arts in Communication prepares students to work strategically to use PR to enhance an organization’s image, develop creative messages to build or expand a brand, cultivate strong relationships and manage communication crises.
By working with experienced faculty, students will learn all facets of communication from the sports arena to the corporate world, all in the company of fellow communications professionals in a supportive online community.
Western New England University is known for providing professionally focused programs with a solid liberal arts background. Located in Springfield, MA, in the heart of New England's Knowledge Corridor, home to 26 colleges and universities, the University was founded in 1919. Its mission then was to serve the needs of part-time adult learners. Nearly a century later that commitment to providing programs convenient to working adults continues through more than a dozen graduate programs, including online study in the Master of Arts in Communication with a Public Relations Concentration.
The online MA program is offered through our widely respected College of Arts and Sciences, one of four Colleges at the University, which also include the College of Business, the College of Engineering, and the College of Pharmacy.
