The Western New England University Institute for Legislative and Governmental Affairs will host the 1st Hampden & Hampshire Senatorial Debate (seat being vacated by Senator Gale Candaras) between candidates: Deborah Boranski and Eric Lesser. The event will be streamed live via Ludlow Public Access TV. Immediately following there will be a "Meet and Greet" reception in the Law Commons with the candidates sponsored by the Hampden County Bar Association.

Veterans Day Tribute Ceremony

President Anthony Caprio and the University ROTC Cadets invite the faculty, staff and students to join with veterans for a tribute ceremony in the Lyman and Leslie Wood Auditorium (formerly Sleith 100). The program will feature the Campus Chorus performing the National Anthem and other patriotic numbers, a Wreath Laying, a keynote speech, and a 21-gun salute.

Cost: $35. The bus will depart from the Kevin S. Delbridge Welcome center at 7:30 a.m. and will drop off passengers in the area of the Radio City Music Hall at about 11:00 a.m. The bus will depart from a predetermined location at 8:00 p.m. (usually near St. Patrick's Cathedral) and returns to the University around midnight.
