Everything I Know About Business I Learned From the Grateful Dead

The Law and Business Center for Advancing Entrepreneurship hosted a presentation called “Everything I Know About Business I Learned From the Grateful Dead” by Barry Barnes, professor of Management at Nova Southeastern University H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, on Thursday, April 5. Barnes’ lecture addressed how the Grateful Dead unintentionally pioneered many ideas and practices that were subsequently embraced by American corporations. He shared some of the most innovative business lessons from the Dead’s illustrious career and explained how the band’s influence on the business world will prove to be a significant part of their legacy.
