Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Host Stanley Kowalski III
The Western New England University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host a presentation by Stanley Kowalski III, Chairman of the Board and Founder of FloDesign, Inc., on Tuesday, September 18, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in Sleith Hall Auditorium. Kowalski will discuss the path he took to starting, running, and growing multiple business ventures, sharing lessons that he learned along the way and give pointers to those that are just starting out. The event is free and open to the public.
A 1992 graduate of the Western New England University College of Engineering, Kowalski is a serial entrepreneur and team builder. He founded FloDesign Wind Turbine, FloDesign Water Turbine, FloDesign Sonics, and SK3 Realty and is known for backing technologies that make a difference in the world. Kowalski prides himself on assembling a team of the top innovators from around the world, including approximately 30 Western New England University graduates. He was named Western New England Alumnus of the Year in 2010.
The Western New England University Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship is a resource for small business development in the Pioneer Valley region.
