Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hosts Sierra Ventures

Sierra Ventures, a California-based venture capital fund, visited with students, alumni, trustees, and faculty on October 2 to discuss entrepreneurial efforts on campus. The event, sponsored by the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, was designed to help the University become better acquainted with the services that can be offered by a venture capitalist while also allowing entrepreneurs on campus to discuss their concepts with representatives of Sierra Ventures.

Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, Western New England University serves 3,700 students, including 2,550 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Pharmacy, and School of Law.
