Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Host Alumnus Larry Hott

The Western New England University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host a presentation by Larry Hott, Co-Founder of Florentine Films/Hott Productions, Inc., on Tuesday, November 5 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the Blake Law Center Commons. The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be provided.

A 1976 graduate of the Western New England University School of Law, Hott left the practice of law to produce documentary films. His prolific career includes an Emmy award, two Academy Award nominations, a George Foster Peabody Award, the duPont-Columbia Journalism Award, five American Film Festival Blue Ribbons, and first place awards from numerous film festivals. During his lecture, Hott will discuss the path he took to starting, running, and growing his business venture, sharing lessons that he learned along the way and providing pointers to those that are just starting out.
