Welcome to the ALCOHOL eCHECKUP

A valuable tool for all students, faculty and staff. The ALCOHOL eCHECKUP is an online, STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL self-assessment survey which takes about 20-40 minutes to complete (depending on your interest). The ALCOHOL eCHECKUP is designed to serve as a 'check-up', providing you with personalized feedback about your alcohol use. All responses are confidential and your name is not attached to this assessment in any way so no one will view your feedback but you. Answering each question truthfully and accurately will give you helpful feedback regarding your individual pattern of alcohol use and how it might be affecting your personal relationships, life and career goals, academic success, and your overall health and well being. The results are immediate and can be read online and/or printed out. You can also print out a certificate of completion if this program has been assigned in a class or as a sanction.

Harmful Interactions: Mixing Alcohol with Medicines

The following link is to a pamphlet which lists medications that can cause harm when taken with alcohol and describes the effects that can result. The list gives the brand name by which each medicine is commonly known (for example, Benadryl®) and its generic name or active ingredient (in Benadryl®, this is diphenhydramine). The list presented here does not include all the medicines that may interact harmfully with alcohol. Most important, the list does not include all the ingredients in every medication.
