Cadence® University Program Member

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering gratefully acknowledges the generous support from Cadence, through their university program, for use of their EDA tools in our Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Curricula.

Current course offerings that utilize the Cadence EDA tools include:

  • EE 430 - VLSI Design - Introductory course to VLSI, exposing students to Analog/Digital circuit design using CMOS
  • EE 490 - Nanophotonics Design - Introductory photonics integrated circuit design course exposing students optical circuits combined with CMOS integration
  • CPE 420 - Computer Architecture - Introductory course to microprocessor design
  • CPE 462 - VHDL: Simulation & Synthesis - VHDL design course
