The Green Engineering Concentration focuses on the entire renewable energy cycle, from generation to distribution to consumption. You will learn the best practices for incorporating energy generated from renewable sources into the current grid and how the transition to the “smart grid” will effect energy production. You will also work on ways to make existing electronic devices more energy efficient through smarter electronics and programming. By the time you graduate, you will be prepared to become a leader in the field of renewable energy, with the educational background to create the next innovations that will make our grid more efficient and our society less dependant on fossil fuels.
