The accelerated Six-year Engineering/Law program at Western New England University will give you the technical and legal education to take your career in many exciting directions.

• Accepted!—Earn provisional acceptance to the School of Law when you are accepted to the program as an undergraduate.

Admissions

Students interested in this unique program need a minimum SAT Math score of 650 and a minimum Critical Reading SAT score of 650 or ACT equivalent scores of 29 in English, Math, and Composite and a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher. Students need to maintain a 3.3 undergraduate GPA in order to maintain their provisional acceptance to the School of Law. Following the sophomore year, students take the LSAT and need to score above the 50th percentile of the previous year’s matriculating law class. Students not meeting these pre-college requirements, but who have demonstrated superior performance in their studies at the University, may petition to be considered for the accelerated degree sequence at the end of their sophomore year.

Accreditations

Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs are accredited by ABET. Our new Civil and Computer Engineering programs will follow the application process for accreditation as outlined by ABET, Inc. The JD law program is accredited by the American Bar Association.
