Alexander Rosas joined the faculty at Western New England University in August 2011. His primary areas of academic interest lie in political and legal theory; law and society; international human rights law and public international law; and issues of multiculturalism, immigration and citizenship. He also has interests in torts and comparative law. His current research focuses on the integration of cultural and religious minorities in France and the protection of cultural rights in international human rights law, and he is in the initial stages of a research project on tort liability for bullying.
Professor Rosas holds a Ph.D. in Jurisprudence and Social Policy and a J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A., with Honors and University Distinction, in International Relations from Stanford University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. |
