  • Women's Basketball travels to Puerto Rico

"This January, our team traveled to Puerto Rico to compete in the San Juan Shootout. The financial support provided by our alumni gave our student-athletes the opportunity to experience a different culture, compete against teams outside our region, and build team unity. This type of athletic experience is crucial as we compete with other schools to recruit the brightest, most talented players. In the future, it is my hope that each player will be able to participate in a similar trip during their time at Western New England. Generous gifts from alumni also support our student-athletes by funding strength and conditioning programs, equipment, senior awards and more.”  - Nicole Chaszar, Head Women’s Basketball Coach
