Professor Freeman is Panelist at the Yale Rebellious Lawyering Conference 2016

Professor Freeman was a panelist at the Yale Rebellious Lawyering Conference 2016 and participated in session V of the Program titled, Building Sustainable Careers in Public Interest Law: Organizing Public Interest Lawyers. The session discussed the struggle to win collective bargaining rights for lawyers and other employees of the state public defender agency in Massachusetts, and of the UAW's National Organization of Legal Service Workers Local 2320 in New York. Also disscussed were strategies for organizing with veteran public interest lawyers and labor activists, and conversation about the pros and cons of lawyers for the public interest having a voice for themselves at work.
