Trump First 100 Days Series: Civil Rights in Education
The election of Donald Trump heralds a new policy direction for civil rights in education. Already there has been a major reversal of Title IX’s protection of transgender students. Will sexual assault policies and other civil rights be next?
Professor Erin Buzuvis of the School of Law will explore these issues in her talk and tell us how the new administration’s policies will impact current and future Title IX protections.
Sponsored by: Institute for Legislative & Governmental Affairs at the Western New England University School of Law, partnered with the Springfield Public Forum.
