Alumni Association Elections: Six Chosen for Board of Directors Positions

There were three newly elected members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors during the organization’s recent annual elections. Voters chose Alison Castellano ’03 as Vice President. David Greenslade ’14/G’15 and Kevin McKiernan G’97 joined the group as Members-at-Large. Courtney Chafer ’14, Tim Conrod ’11/G’12, and Laurie Gibson ’92/G’00 were re-elected as Members-at-Large. In addition, Ed Lavoie ’99 assumed the President’s post following the end of his term as Vice President.

Castellano is a stay-at-home mom and a part-time adjunct professor of Psychology at Western New England University. Greenslade is a PhD candidate in Engineering Management and an instructor at the University’s College of Engineering. McKiernan is director of compliance at Prudential Investments, LLC. Chafer is staff/cost accountant at OFS Fitel in Avon, CT. Conrod is manager, multimedia sponsorship integration, at ESPN. Gibson is director of sales, training, and coaching at The Harford School of Insurance. Lavoie is a regional consultant at MassMutual.

The terms begin on July 1, 2016. Vice President is a three-year position with a non-renewable term. The term for Member-at-Large lasts one year and is renewable for another term.
