The 2017 Golden Bear Pharmacy Summer Camp is an opportunity for students to learn about various career paths in the pharmaceutical field, experience hands-on activities and demonstrations by the College of Pharmacy faculty, and get tips on how to prepare for a career in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Among the summer camp workshops are: DNA extraction and purification, drugs that are most often abused, herbal gardens, the compounding and sterile products labs, and more. The camp is open to any interested high school student who demonstrates strong academic skills and an interest in pharmacy or the pharmaceutical sciences, including chemistry and biology.
