On Thursday, November 2, the University’s Center for International Sport Business will present a talk by Mike Reiss, a Boston-based national sports journalist who covers the New England Patriots. The event, which is free and open to the public and sponsored by the Alumni Association, will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Lyman and Leslie Wood Auditorium in Sleith Hall.

Reiss’ work has frequently appeared on ESPN’s Sports Center, NFL Insiders, NFL Live, and ESPN Radio. He began his career covering the Patriots for the team’s official newspaper, Patriots Football Weekly, after which he worked for the MetroWest Daily News and subsequently, the Boston Globe. Reiss joined ESPN in 2009, where he has remained since as the NFL national reporter covering the Patriots.

Reiss is an innovator in providing around-the-clock and interactive sports coverage, creating his “Reiss’ Pieces” blog in 2002 at Boston.com, which he continues today at mikereiss.net. In 2015, Reiss teamed up with former Patriots wide receiver Troy Brown to write Patriot Pride: My Life in the New England Dynasty, which chronicles Brown’s 15-year career with the team.
