Stay Connected with Your Alma Mater by Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way reconnect with Western New England University. There are many opportunities: get involved with our Alumni Association, which helps plan events such as Homecoming Weekend and the Alumni Golf Tournament.

The list goes on: our Alumni-in-Admissions volunteers bridge the past with the future by connecting alumni with high school students at college fairs. Our Sophomore Career Connections program links sophomores with alumni in the greater Springfield area for mentoring and job shadowing. Another program, Alumni Links for Career Success, enables seniors to network with College of Business alumni, who also mentor students in the annual RealTest Event and the Monday Mentors program. There are Engineering and Law mentoring programs as well.

Host a student intern at your company. Speak to a class or participate in an alumni panel discussion: students will benefit from your expertise.

Share your time and talent with Western New England University. It’s fun, rewarding, and helps students make the most of their University experience. Contact Katie DeBeer, director of alumni engagement, at katie.debeer@wne.edu or 413-782-1478.
