Office of Alumni Relations Seeks Nominations for 2008 Alumni Awards; Deadline is February 15

alumassoclogo.gifThe Office of Alumni Relations is seeking nominations for its annual Alumni Awards. Those interested should read about the awards and their criteria below. If you would like to nominate a deserving alumnus for one of these awards please submit the nominee’s name and a supporting letter outlining why this alumnus/a is deserving of the award and how he or she meets the criteria.

Nominations should be submitted no later than February 15, 2008 to Kristina Oleksak in the Western News England College Office of Alumni Relations, 1215 Wilbraham Rd., Springfield, MA 01119, or via email to koleksak@wne.edu.

The Special Projects Award is presented to volunteers of the Alumni Association who are actively involved in the committees, teams and programs. Special projects include, but are not limited to, such events as Homecoming, the Alumni Golf Tournament, and Alumni-in-Admissions.

The Outstanding Service Award applies to general overall service to the Alumni Association. These nominees should be active volunteers that represent the ideals and goals of the College, and also serve as role models for current students and alumni.

The award recipients will be announced at the Alumni Awards Dinner on April 17. For more information, call 413-782-1557.
