2008 Mark Coffey Memorial Golf Outing: the Tradition Continues with the 6th Annual Tournament

The Mark Coffey Memorial Golf Outing was a complete success, with 127 golfers participating in the sixth annual outing April 25 at the Oak Ridge Golf Club in Agawam, MA. The event benefited the Mark A. Coffey Endowed Memorial Scholarship, named after the brother of Alumni Association Vice President Mike Coffey G'79.
Mark Coffey was an associate professor of accounting who taught at the College for 28 years. He passed away in 2002. The winning foursome, with a score of 58, consisted of Mike Pellerin '87 and students Kyle Jurczyk, Kristin Volz, and Kaylee Martin. See the photo album/slide show of the outing.
Also known as “Skip,” Mark Coffey served as faculty advisor for the Student Accounting Association, and was also heavily involved in the internship program.
The presenting sponsor of the outing was Field Eddy, Inc. Scholarship sponsors are Aubrey, Dixon & Turgeon, LLC; Arbella Insurance; KPMG, LLP; Blue Cross Blue Shield; East Coast Tile; Health New England; and Meaghan Coffey ’05.
