Color of Law Speaker Series Hosts Angela Brown

The Color of Law speaker series kicked off September 22 as it hosted Angela Brown, assistant vice president and counsel for the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. During her speech, Brown discussed her experiences and accomplishments with the campus community. In addition to hearing about the steps Brown took to become successful, those in attendance had the opportunity to ask Brown questions following her speech.
The Color of Law series is designed to expose Western New England College law students to attorneys, professionals, and judges of color from the surrounding area. The next Color of Law Roundtable Speaker will be Alex Toribio, associate attorney at the law firm of McCarter and English. Torbino will speak on October 5 at 12:00 noon in room C of the Blake Law Center.
Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, Western New England University serves 3,700 students, including 2,550 full-time undergraduate students.
