Posted April 19, 2010

Jason Lopez ’98, New York native and long-time Yankees fan, recently provided narration for the MLB network game of the week “This is Our Game” opening segment for the NY Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays national telecast. Lopez graduated with a degree in Sport Management from Western New England College and was a member of the men’s varsity basketball team. He worked for ABC Sports until 2002, when he decided to change careers and became a New York City police officer. As a reward for his efforts, Lopez and his wife Jessica (Derry) ’99 received box seats for the game.
