Gerard Named to Faculty at College of Business

Dr. Joseph G. Gerard of Wilbraham has been named Assistant Professor of Management at Western New England University. Dr. Anthony S. Caprio, Western New England president, recently announced Gerard’s appointment in the University’s College of Business.

joseph_gerard_wne_college_of_business_webjpgGerard comes to Western New England from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, where he served as Assistant Professor of Technology Management, teaching such topics as strategic innovation and technology planning, innovation and entrepreneurship, project management, and business policy. Gerard is a frequent conference presenter on teaching and learning in a digital world, including the role of tablet PC’s and Linkedin in the classroom. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Georgia as well as master’s degrees from the American Graduate School of International Management and Arizona State University.
