Posted July 2, 2011

jakeandamirgifPrepare to laugh: the Campus Activities Board will bring the College Humor Live Tour to Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, September 24. The hosts will be Jake and Amir (pictured), two of’s most famous comedy duos. The headline acts will be Dan Gurewitch and Nick Vaterott.

The event will be held in the Alumni Healthful Living Center at 8:00 p.m. and is free for all University students. Tickets for alumni, which cost $5, will be available at the registration tent in front of the Campus Utilities Building (CUB) and at the door. The show is just one of a plethora of activities on Homecoming Weekend September 23-25. Enjoy reunions, varsity athletic contests, fun and games for children, and much more. View the entire Homecoming schedule.

Come back to campus and give your friends a big bear hug on Homecoming Weekend. Share stories and great memories. Tour the new Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy. New this year: the ROTC climbing wall! Take in one or more varsity games: football, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, women’s tennis, and field hockey. Most of the festivities on Saturday will take place on Golden Bear Boulevard: the Campus Utilities Building (CUB) parking area across from the tennis courts. Homecoming participants should park at the Kevin S. Delbridge Welcome Center lot. On-campus transportation will be provided to and from Golden Bear Stadium, or just follow the “paw prints” to the athletics area. View photos and video from Homecoming 2010.

Be sure to pre-register for free admission to the football game. On September 24 check in at the registration table and receive your hand stamp for the 1:00 p.m. game vs. Nichols College.
