Jake Rinaldo Receives Distinguished Young Alumnus Award

The College of Business recently held its annual Careers-in-Sport Panel Session in conjunction with the University's Open House. Six sport management alumni, including Charles Drago '12, Tim Conrod '11, Jake Rinaldo '09, Bridget McCabe '10, Mike Booker '10, and Brian Krajewski '10, were joined by senior sport management major Tom Albano in an informative hour-long session moderated by Sport Management Professor and Department Chair Sharianne Walker.

The panelists covered a wide range of topics, sharing insights with prospective students and their parents about academic preparation and working in the sport industry today. At the event, Jake Rinaldo, group sales manager for the NHL New Jersey Devils, was presented with the Sport Management Department's Distinguished Young Alumnus Award by Western New England University hockey coach Greg Heffernan and Sharianne Walker.
