Asian Fusion Celebrates Lunar New Year
Posted January 23, 2014
United & Mutually Equal held its annual Asian Fusion cultural event in the Campus Center on January 21. The event showcases Asian cultures through food and poster boards created by students. “This celebration is held in January every year to coincide with the Lunar New Year, which is widely celebrated in Asian cultures,” says U&ME President Keanna Hector. “The food draws a lot of students and faculty to attend and helps get people together and conversing which is what cultural exchange is all about,” added Hector.
