Goodwill Industries Partners with Student Entrepreneurs
Posted March 17, 2014
An entrepreneurial team composed of students from the Colleges of Business and Engineering developed two products which will be manufactured by Goodwill clients at their Cottage Street manufacturing facility. The students developed low cost picture frames and drink coasters as part of the Product Innovation and Development course offered jointly by the Colleges of Engineering and Business. These products, developed in only 15 weeks, are made from recycled vinyl record albums and will be sold through the Goodwill Retail stores in the Pioneer Valley.
