Posted November 7, 2007
Get ready to hit the slopes on the Family and Friends Ski Trip to Mount Snow on Saturday, February 9. Located in West Dover, Vermont, the Mount Snow Ski Area is home 108 ski trails, which are served by 19 lifts.
The bus departs bright and early at 6:00 a.m. and returns at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $85 for adults, $75 for young adults (ages 13-18), $65 for juniors (ages 6-12) and seniors (65+), and $30 for children under 5. Pricing includes transportation and discounted lift ticket. The number of available tickets is limited. For more information, contact Kristina Oleksak at (413) 782-1557.
Mount Snow has 590 acres of skiing, 37 miles of trails, and a summit elevation that measures 3,600 feet. Skiers of all levels—novice, intermediate, and advanced—are sure to find something to enjoy.
In the summer of 2007, Mount Snow invested heavily in snowmaking technology, purchasing 101 energy-efficient Polecat fan guns from SMI Snowmakers, Inc. This state-of-the-art equipment uses less compressed air than traditional air/water guns, meaning it requires significantly less energy to produce snow. Discount ski and snowboard rentals available.
Other upcoming alumni events include AHL Hockey Madness: games in Albany (Albany River Rats vs. Binghamton Senators February 13), Worcester (Worcester Sharks vs. Springfield Falcons February 27), and Springfield (Springfield Falcons vs. Portland Pirates). For more information, visit Alumni Events.
