Pre-pharmacy Course Requirements

All learners must complete the pre-pharmacy course requirements, earning a grade of “C” or above, at an accredited college or university prior to matriculation into the professional program at the College of Pharmacy.

Organic chemistry, human anatomy/physiology, and microbiology courses earned more than five years prior to applying to the College of Pharmacy cannot be used to satisfy pre-pharmacy course requirements unless approved by the Admissions Committee on an individual applicant basis.

Course equivalency sheets have been established for all two-year and four-year colleges in the greater Springfield area, as well as throughout Massachusetts.  Course equivalency sheets are also available for select colleges in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York.
