Jimmy Gonzalez obtained a BA in Chemistry from Williams College prior to pursuing his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.  Afterward, he completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ and a PGY-2 specialized residency in drug information at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  During his PGY2 residency, he served as an adjunct faculty member at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University and precepted IPPE and APPE pharmacy students in Drug Information.

Dr. Gonzalez joined the faculty at Western New England University College of Pharmacy in 2016 after the completion of his residencies.
