Assistant Dean of Experiential Affairs and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Kim Tanzer received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland and her PharmD from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Post BS PharmD Pathway.
Prior to coming to Western New England University as the Assistant Dean of Experiential Affairs, she was the Coordinator of Early Practice Experiences at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Worcester/Manchester campuses. Additionally, she held a position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, in which she was a co-coordinator for several courses in the Introduction to Pharmaceutical Care series. In her role at MCPHS, Dr. Tanzer also served on the Admission, Assessment, and Curriculum Committees.
Dr. Tanzer’s professional experience includes an extensive background in retail, home infusion, clinical pharmacy, and management.
