The Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development is your gateway to entertainment, involvement, and leadership on campus. As part of the Division of Student Affairs, we are creating experiences for life by providing opportunities for students to participate actively, grow personally, and explore new ideas and interests through a variety of entertainment and involvement experiences. Many club and organization events are free to students and do not require tickets. University Tickets is used for off campus trips, clothing sales, and select events on campus like Spring Event and Stageless Players productions. Student Employment

The Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development employs over fifty students each year. Through Campus Center employment, student assistants, photographers, and radio station assistants, our hope is to find a position for students in an area they are interested in while providing them with opportunities to grow personally and professionally.     The Western New England University campus is a place of involvement and action. With over 70 clubs and organizations available on the campus, there is something of interest for every student. There are pre-professional programs that compliment your major, like the Criminal Justice Association and Management Association or special interest clubs that allow students to enjoy a hobby like the Outing Club and Writer's Workshop. Even if you are not involved in high school activities, you can find something to get involved with on our campus.

    The purpose of leadership development is to empower Western New England University students to increase their impact, not only as leaders but ultimately, as citizens of the world. By offering unique opportunities for leadership education, such as the Leadership Series and various leadership positions, we strive to foster personal and group development while also enabling students to share this knowledge with their peers.

    Western New England University offers minors in art, music, and theatre. Outside of the classroom, opportunities to get involved in the arts are endless. On campus, many clubs and organizations are centered around creative arts interests. With a valid University ID, students have free admission to the Springfield Museums.

    As a Golden Bear Commuter student, you are encouraged to attend and participate to the fullest in Western New England programs, services, and traditions.
