Health Services

The Office of Health Services is directed by a full-time certified family nurse practitioner and staffed with nurse practitioners, a physician assistant, and a part-time physician. It is one of the most comprehensive facilities of its kind in the region and offers both medical services and educational programs to promote a healthy community. Health Services is structured much as an urgent care center. We pride ourselves on the efficient, comprehensive, confidential health care we provide and the respect we assign our patients.

Maintaining good health takes into account the effects of physical, emotional, social, sexual, spiritual, and nutritional factors. We believe that it is important that students become educated consumers of medical care and develop healthy habits to enhance their quality of life.

Healthcare is provided at no cost to students; however, students are responsible for cost associated with medical services. These include: laboratory fees, radiology charges, prescription medications, and visits to off-campus health-care providers. Health Services is located in the Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy.
