Admissions Requirements

Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution is required. A wide variety of academic backgrounds will be considered for admission. An undergraduate degree in business is not required, however, the MBA has three prerequisites: accounting, finance, and statistics. If you have not completed these courses previously, you may be able to begin your studies on a provisional basis while fulfilling any prerequisite requirements. The GMAT or GRE is required for admission. The minimum score will be based on your undergraduate GPA. There is the option to request a waiver of the GMAT. MBA courses are offered online with a fusion of regularly meeting live small-group class sessions via Web conferencing software, and ‘at-your-pace’ learning via Kodiak, Western New England University's online learning management system. In this rich online learning environment, you will be able to interact with faculty, students, guest professionals, alumni, and clients, as well as enjoy flexibility in absorbing course content both through attending live sessions from the comfort of your home and posted videos, discussions, and readings.

The MBA consists of 36 credits or 12 courses. By taking two courses per 11-week term, you can expect to finish in 18 months. If you take one course per term, you can expect to complete your degree in three years.

You have up to eight years to complete the program once you begin. MBA candidates working a full- time job typically complete the program in 18-22 months.
