Communications/Public Relations

Originally from up in Slingerlands, NY, Madison Pezze’s world grew immensely when she began her collegiate career. She knew right away that she wanted to surround herself, one activity at a time, with opportunities to help others and make the world a better place. As a first year student, her education opened up a world of curiosity that led to her working in several different industries. A Communications/Public Relations major she has pursued everything from technology and advertising to healthcare at Baystate Children’s Hospital and traveling the world. It is clear to Madison that her life will take her down more than just one career path.

Through her extracurricular activities at Western New England, Madison found a passion in producing community engagement events. One event that was particularly special to her was the 2019 WNE Walks event, which she planned as a member of the 2020 Student Council. In her role as the student coordinator Madison learned vital skills she could apply to her professional internships in event planning and nonprofit. In her role with Max’s Tavern Restaurant Group Madison assisted with everything from scrubbing floors to meeting with corporate clients and planning large scale benefits. She was fortunate to be part the launch of an event at new restaurant in Florida. While at Baystate Children’s Hospital, Madison has flourished. Beginning as an intern assisting with the annual Radioathon, her dedication led to an event assistant position to ensure a successful golf tournament and finally to a part-time position managing the exhibitor booths for the Rays of Hope Walk!

Outside of her roles in different offices, businesses, and clubs, Madison is a hard working student with a 3.6 GPA. Above all, her priority has been to make the most of her academic career at Western New England University. Madison is grateful for and proud of her time here, and knows that she is even stronger now than she was as a first year student. Madison says she is more than ready to take on the fight of working towards a better world, wherever her career may take her.
