The Association Board of Directors is composed of the elected officers of the Alumni Association:

Advancement Committee Chair
Alumni Outreach Committee Chair
Past President(s) of the Alumni Association (appointed)
Up to five Members-at-Large

Volunteer Management Committee
Your organizational skills and managerial acumen could make you a valued contributor to any of the three teams that make up the Volunteer Management Committee. This group of teams handles all administrative matters of the Alumni Association such as awards selection, constitution and bylaw review, and nominations process.
This Committee functions as a forum for sharing ideas and developing plans to engage, educate, and solicit fellow alumni. Additionally, this group focuses on helping to reach the Annual Giving Campaign goals.
Alumni Outreach Committee
If you have a knack for event planning and are looking for a committee with a strong social aspect, the Alumni Outreach Committee may be right for you. This group helps coordinate social events such as Homecoming, and the Annual Alumni Golf Tournament. The team also oversees the annual Skookum Awards, and the Student and Alumni Team.
Make an impact
Young alumni are some of our greatest ambassadors: Jason Thall ’13 is pictured at a college fair at Troy High School in Fullerton, CA. Thall is from neighboring Placentia, CA. The Alumni-in-Admissions program has played a significant role in recruiting students and ensuring the future of Western New England University. As a volunteer, you will personally identify with prospective students and act as a liaison between students and the University.
Steve Page ’05 (pictured), a structured credit analyst at Babson Capital Management, recently related firsthand accounts from his job and lessons learned from his career in the Business Communication class taught by Professional Educator of Communication Brenda Garton-Sjoberg. The Office of Alumni Relations provides students with an opportunity to hear alumni speak about their careers in various professional fields. If you have an interest in speaking to a class or offering your experience to our students in another format, please contact Kristina Oleksak at 413-782-1557.
