President Caprio and Business Students Enjoy Field Trip to Manchester, England
For the second year in a row at the invitation of WNE alumnus and Kalibrate President and CEO Bob Stein ’79, students in the College of Business “Sophomore Experience Abroad” (SEA) Program traveled from London to Manchester to visit Kalibrate Headquarters for a top-level executive briefing and tour of the company’s offices. Kalibrate is a pioneer in the use of data in fuel pricing optimization for fuel retailers, with clients in the U.K. and six other EU countries, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Philippines, and Thailand.
The trip was organized and led by Dr. Herb Eskot, who was the SEA Program’s faculty-in-residence for the last three-week rotation of the fall term and who teaches ILP 230, Business and the Global Environment. President Anthony Caprio, who was in London on University business, was delighted to be able to join the students, who capped their study-away semester with this unique opportunity to visit England’s second-most populous urban area, and home to the English Premier League’s Manchester City and Manchester United football clubs.
