Lynn Paulella Beard
I have been teaching in higher education and the performing arts for over 20 years and as an adjunct professor at Westfield State University. My experience is in the performing arts as a director, producer, teacher, and writer. I have a Master of Arts from New York University and am completing a Master of Social Work degree from Westfield State University. My background offers a unique understanding of the creative and artistic human being.
It is vital to instill trust and support in these trying times while encouraging inner strength, continuously investing in a safe space for all students and student artists to share. With creative momentum, we all can expand our personal truth and become ready for what the world calls us to become. It is heartening to be a part of empowering, listening, holding space, and journeying with other human beings, especially those seeking to nurture themselves and others with their creative talents. While the arts have been my first passion, I have discovered an ever-equal interest in supporting students who may not necessarily think of themselves as creative. I am looking forward to meeting you just where you are, guiding you to become/create your best self.
