Vaccination Clinic: Monday, May 3 and Tuesday, May 4

Updated April 30, 2021

Hello Golden Bears!

As Dr. Johnson shared on Wednesday, we are partnering with CVS to offer a two day vaccination clinic on campus in Rivers Arena on Monday, May 3 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 4 from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. If you have not already done so, I would strongly encourage you to sign up using the registration links below for your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. CVS will counsel you in locating a CVS pharmacy in your hometown to secure your second dose. If you are an international student, you are encouraged to remain on campus and in the state to secure your second dose before traveling home. International students should reach out to Ryan Begin at ryan.begin@wne.edu if they are in need of on campus housing for this reason.

It is important to note that these registration links will close 24 hours before the clinic so please sign up today! If you find the link has closed, we will have limited appointments for walk-ins as well.

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email. Please be sure to arrive to Rivers 5 minutes before your appointment time and wear a short sleeve shirt. After you receive your vaccine, you will be asked to remain in Rivers for observation for 15 minutes. A trained CVS health colleague will walk you through all vaccine information and follow-up instructions. You will receive a vaccination record card with your first dose.

For those of you wishing to have a COVID-19 PCR test administered before you go home for the summer (at no charge), you will be able to do so on Monday, May 3 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 pm. In Rivers and Tuesday, May 4 from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. in Rivers. PCR testing will be provided in Health services for the rest of the week during normal business hours: 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

I wish you all the very best of luck on your exams and hope I will see you at the end of the semester Clambake in the University Commons on Sunday, May 2 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. (we have great raffles!) and on Monday night, May 3 from 9:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. in the University Commons for the late night breakfast.

Warmly,
