Information on COVID-19 Testing
Updated March 23, 2020
Presumptive Case of COVID-19–A person can only have a presumptive case of COVID-19 if they have been tested. Those who have been tested are normally placed in isolation until test results are finalized.
As more community members get tested for COVID-19, there will inevitably be more presumptive and positive cases. If you have had contact with a person who has been tested and is waiting for results, or someone who has received a positive result from testing, please report this information to Human Resources and Health Services. We request that you do not notify other Western New England community members about potential exposure until you have notified Human Resources and Health Services.
