Change to the Fall Academic Calendar

Updated October 23, 2020

The University is sensitive to the variety of stressors impacting our students and their families this semester, especially as many are enrolled in and adapting to hybrid courses delivered in multi-modalities. To that end, we are providing an extension for students to withdraw from a class, regardless of how it is being taught.

The last date to withdraw from classes for the 15-week Undergraduate and College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences courses has been extended by two weeks. Students now have until Wednesday, November 18 to withdraw from courses with a “W” on the transcript. Students enrolled in classes after the 18th will receive letter grades.

Students wishing to withdraw from a course must submit the Add/Drop/Withdrawal Form by the November 18 deadline.

Please direct questions about course withdrawals to your academic dean’s office, or contact Enrollment Services at records@wne.edu or by calling 413-796-2080.

We hope that this allows you some additional time to manage your decisions related to this academic term.
