The Business Impact Scholarship

Making an Investment in Our Own Backyard

From CEOs to bank presidents, entrepreneurs to government officials, graduates of the College of Business at Western New England University are making significant contributions to the economic vitality of our region.

Through the Business Impact Scholarship, Western New England is making an investment in the future leaders who will make a difference in this region through education at the College of Business.

For fall 2019, this $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to incoming College of Business freshmen from Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire, Franklin or Worcester counties in Massachusetts; Hartford or Tolland counties in Connecticut; or Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties in New York. The scholarship is renewable for all years of undergraduate study, providing the student maintains full-time status at the College of Business and is meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) per the course catalog.

This amount is in addition to the academic merit scholarships (which can be up to $21,000 per year) awarded to students accepted to the College of Business for fall 2019.

Students at the AACSB International-accredited College of Business have opportunities to gain valuable experience through internships, become certified in SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning software), participate in our student-managed investment fund, study abroad, and utilize the outstanding facilities of our Trading Room and Financial Center as well as the Business Analytics Center.

We look forward to seeing how the recipients of this scholarship will make an impact as members of the region’s business community.
