Apple Cinnamon Waffles

Recipe from the Mountain Fare Inn; Campton, New Hampshire

What You'll Need: 
Waffle Iron 

  • 2 cups of Flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 T. baking powder
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 grated apple
  • ½ cup melted butter or margarine/or oil 


  1. Combine all the dry ingredients.

  2. In a separate bowl; beat eggs until thick.

  3. Add in milk, melted butter, & vanilla.

  4. Combine the wet & dry ingredients together. 

  5. Fold in the grated apple. 

  6. Spoon into a greased waffle iron & cook until done. 

Serve immediately with homemade applesauce, maple syrup, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream (Judy's personal favorite.)
