What is my User ID?

Your User ID is a unique alpha-numeric identifier, that in combination with your password allows you access to email, Connect2U, Self-Service, Kodiak and other Western New England University online systems. User ID is generally a combination of two (2) letters followed by six (6) numbers. For example, John Smith’s user ID could be “js123456”. In some circumstances a User ID will be made up of the first letter of your first name and the first seven (7) letters of your last.

You should have received an email or letter indicating your User ID. If you don't know your UserID, contact the Enrollment Services department at (413) 796-2080 or visit them in D'Amour Hall lower level.

How do I activate/claim my account?

 Using the User ID you were provided, click here to claim/activate your account.

You will be prompted to provide a personal email address and secret question. These will be required in order to reset your password should you forget it and require assistance.

How do I change my password?

Follow these five steps:
  1. Go to the change password page here.
  2. Read the Acceptable Use Of Technical Resources Policy and click the "I AGREE TO FOLLOW" link at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter the requested information into the form.
  4. Click the "Change Password" button.
  5. It may take up to two minutes to receive the message "Your password was changed successfully!".

My password expired. What does this mean?

Don't worry, this is normal. For security reasons your password expires every 14 weeks. All you need to do is change the password to something new and the account will be reactivated. 

  • If you know your old password then change it.
  • If you forgot your old password then reset it by selecting "Forgot Password" at the top of the password change form.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Follow these ten steps: 
  1. Go to the reset password page here.
  2. Enter your User ID.
  3. Read the Acceptable Use Of Technical Resources Policy and click the "I AGREE TO FOLLOW" link at the bottom of the page.
  4. Answer your secret question correctly.
  5. Choose to either have a reset code sent to your cell phone or a reset link sent to your personal email address.
  6. Follow the on screen instructions.
  7. Enter a new password and verify it by entering it again.
  8. Enter a secret question and answer.
  9. Click the "SAVE PASSWORD" button.
  10. If successful, you will receive a "Password Reset Successful!" message.
